‘Thank you so much for helping Jamie to revise for his science GCSE's not only were you someone he could identify with i.e. sporty, academic and 'cool' but you mentored him without being patronising.  I think it was extremely useful to have specific revision days which he could schedule into his revision timetable in preparation for each individual exam so as not to be overloaded all in one go.  Time pressures also were taken into account by your flexibility to come and study with Jamie in his own environment.  Not only were you very knowledgeable on each subject but you made sure that Jamie had a full understanding of each topic and strengthened his confidence with basic testing, tips and information.  I am sure this gave him the confidence to achieve the highest A* grade in each of the sciences, scoring 100 units in both Physics exams and almost full marks in the others, quite impressive given the fact he and the School considered they were his weakest subjects.  Many thanks indeed.’
