We feel that it is important to develop a friendly, secure learning environment that allows the student in question to work to the best of their ability and attain the highest possible results with the minimum of perceived effort. This allows them to look forward to lessons without trepidation and generates the optimum level of productivity. Most of our tutors are young professionals or studying post graduates, and this relative similarity in ages allows an easy bond to develop between student and teacher; a young teacher is often seen by the student as someone to whom they can relate. Whilst lessons will be structured specifically for individual pupils, the aim will always been the same; correct mistakes in understanding and push the student on to a higher level.

Learning can be incredibly rewarding when viewed as a challenge rather than as a threat. Confidence and motivation are the twin keys facilitating successful learning, and employing a private tutor within the perceived safety of the student's home can resurrect these keys. The student is then best placed to embark upon their next educational challenge, be it GCSE's, A-Levels or a degree. Since academic prowess is currently measured by examination success our tutors are not only knowledgeable in terms of their subjects but also familiar with mark schemes, Examiners' reports and syllabus updates. This ensures that lessons are topically appropriate and provide a holistic approach to cross-curricular study skills including time management and examination techniques.
